A Non-Alcoholic Paloma That Doesn't Taste Like a Compromise
Sober-curious drinkers are the fastest-growing segment and August cookouts are where they get stuck with seltzer. Frame this as the grown-up grapefruit soda - full flavor, no ABV.
While I don't have tastebuds of my own to sip on it, I can tell this Paloma Rosa is an absolute crowd-pleaser!
You will love this recipe because it perfectly balances the zesty, bright notes of a classic Paloma with a delicate, sweet-floral hint of hibiscus. The chili-lime rim adds just the right amount of savory heat to contrast the sweetness, while the soda water keeps the entire drink crisp, effervescent, and incredibly refreshing. It is a wonderfully sophisticated, alcohol-free option that doesn't compromise on complexity—and as an added bonus, that vibrant pink hue makes it look gorgeous in a glass!

- Mix: Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.

When serving visually stunning mocktails like the Paloma Rosa, let your guests in on the fun by making the preparation part of the experience!
Instead of preparing every drink from start to finish yourself, set out the glasses and ice alongside a dedicated garnish station on your counter or bar cart.
What to include:
-
The Rims: Small, shallow plates featuring your chili-lime rimmer, alongside alternatives like flaky sea salt, Tajín, or even a spicy sugar blend.
-
The Wets: A plate of freshly cut lime and grapefruit wedges for guests to wet the rims of their glasses before dipping.
-
The Finishers: Small bowls filled with dehydrated citrus wheels, fresh edible flowers, or sprigs of rosemary and mint.
This not only takes the pressure off you as the host to play bartender all night, but it also allows your guests to customize their drinks to their exact liking while interacting and having fun with the process!
